Rajasthan Camel Safari Tour itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
The tour will start in Delhi, the capital city of India, which is a country known for its great hospitality, and a culture that is steeped in traditions. This is a land where the culture speaks oodles of music and dance together. You will be received by our representative at the Delhi airport traditionally with garlands, and then proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay there.
Day 2:Delhi - Mandawa
In the serene morning, you enjoy a 5-6 hours drive (approximately 270 kilometers) to Mandawa, which lies in the heart of the Shekhawati Region. Upon your arrival there, you will then check into the hotel. At noon, you will go on a tour of Mandawa. Situated at the edge of the Thar Desert, this region is also called the 'Open Art Gallery of Rajasthan'. The overnight stay will be at the hotel itself there.
Day 3:Mandawa - Bikaner
A lovely morning awaits you in Mandawa, where you will wake up to a scrumptious breakfast treat at the hotel itself. From there, you'll head to Bikaner. Upon your arrival in the city of Bikaner, our representative will come to assist you in transferring you to your pre-booked hotel there. You can unwind and relax at the hotel there. In the noontime, explore the Junagadh Fort, the Jain Temple, and other places. Then, have the opportunity to explore the city, and afterward,return to the hotel. Have dinner at the hotel and stay there at night.
Day 4: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Have your breakfast comfortably at the hotel itself. Take this morning to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. Have a hearty lunch at the hotel, and then head to Jaisalmer. Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, our representative will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Refresh, unwind, and relax at the hotel. Dine at the hotel and have a good-night-sleep at the hotel.
Day 5: Jaisalmer - Badabagh - Baisakhai - Ramkunda
You'll start in Jaisalmer, where you'll have your breakfast at the hotel, and then head to Bada Bagh by camel! Bada Bagh is the site of royal cenotaphs of Bhatti Rajput Kings (who used to be Jaisalmer rulers). Relish a great lunch at Baisakhai which happens to be a typical village! Then, you will be visiting a Hindu temple, and after that proceed to Ramkunda, which is a holy place with splendid landscapes and devotional Hindu temples. The night will offer you something truly exciting as you will have your dinner in the tents and sleep also in the tents overnight there.
Day 6: Ramkunda - Roopse - Ludharva -Chatrayil
Close to nature, you will have your breakfast meal in the tents, and after having your meal in the lap of nature, you will then head straight to Ludharva through Roopsi, which happens to be a mixed cast village having mud houses and stick houses. After lavish lunch at Ludharva, you will be visiting the Jain temple, and then on to Chatrayil, which is a traditional and typical Muslim village. You'll also visit Peerawal; have dinner there, and experience the amazing nature stay in the tents there
Day 7: Chatrayil - Salkha Beri of Kanoi - Sand dunes
Enjoy in the lap of nature, have your breakfast in a tent, and then continue to Salkha, which happens to be a traditional Rajputana village. Enjoy a hearty lunch and then head straight to the sand dunes, something that you might have been waiting for. Here, you will be going via Beri of Kanoi, which is a place full of wells. Here, you can see how the women balance the pots of water on their heads in their colorful dresses. Reach the sand dunes. Have dinner; enjoy the ethnic music in the desert, and campfire on the dunes.
Day 8: Sand dunes - Kanoi - Masoordi - Jeseiri
Enjoying nature’s retreat, have your breakfast in the tents; then continue to Masoordi through Kanoi, which is the typical village of carpenters. Here you can view and buy intricately-carved wooden objects. Go to Masoordi, and have a hearty lunch there. After having your lunch, head to Jeseiri: which is a water reservoir surrounded by an Oasis and stunning views. Dinner will be in the tents close to nature, and overnight stay will also be in the tents near this reservoir.
Day 9: Jeseiri - Dedha - Deegasar - Kuldhara
The serene morning welcomes you for a scrumptious treat in the lap of nature as you start your day with a healthy breakfast in the tents, and then continue to Degasser via Dedha, which happens to be a Rajputana village with the royal life style of the Rajputs. Have a hearty lunch in Degasser, which is a place surrounded by splendid scenery and a small lake. Continue further to Kuldhara via the small Rajput Dhani which is a typical cluster of houses where farmers stay while cultivating their fields. Go to Kuldhara here you’ll see the ancient village's planning. Night will be close to Mother Nature in the soothing camp.
Day 10: Kuldhara - Moolsagars - Amarsagar - Jaisalmer
The pleasing morning will take you on a healthy treat while you have your breakfast, and after that, depart for Jaisalmer passing through Moolsagar & Amarsagar. Upon your arrival in the city of Jaisalmer, our representative will help you to transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Refresh and relax for the day at the hotel. Take the remaining day for relaxing and unwinding. Dine at the hotel and spend your night also there comfortably.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
A delectable breakfast treat at the hotel, from where you can then start for a full-day city tour including the historic sites of the Patwon Ki Haveli, the Salim Singh Ki Haveli, the Gadi Sagar Reservoir, and the famous Museum. After visiting Jaisalmer, you will be returning to the hotel, have dinner there and spend the night at the hotel itself.
Day 12: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast at the hotel, you will then head to Jodhpur. Upon your arrival in the city of Jodhpur, our representative will help you to reach your pre-booked hotel there. You will be spending the afternoon there exploring the city at leisure. Have dinner at the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel itself.
Day 13: Jodhpur
You will have breakfast at the hotel and proceed for the city tour, where you will be exploring its many historic sites including the Clock tower, the Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, and many more. Dinner will be at the hotel and overnight stay will also be at the hotel there. This is a great way to see all that Rajasthan has to offer while getting a little closer to nature.
Day 14: Jodhpur - Jaipur
Have your breakfast meal comfortably at the hotel, and after that, head to Jaipur, which is the capital city. Upon your arrival in Pink City, our representative will come to transfer you to your pre-booked hotel there. Take time off and rest the entire day for relaxing or soaking up in the atmosphere of the Pink City. Dine and sleep at the hotel.
Day 15: Jaipur
After having your breakfast meal at the hotel, you will then take an excursion to the Fort of Amer, with a joy ride on the elephant’s back. Noontime will be spent having a joyful city tour while visiting the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Royal Observatory, and the Johari Market. Dine and sleep at the hotel.
Day 16: Jaipur - Delhi
After having your morning meal at the hotel, you will be driven to Delhi. Upon your arrival in the Indian capital city, our representative will assist you towards the hotel. After freshening up, you can enjoy a hearty lunch at the hotel. Then spend a few hours shopping in the city for some memoirs. Then, return to the hotel. After your farewell dinner there, our representative will escort you to the airport in time for your connecting flight back to your original destination.
