Japan Tour Package from India FAQs
Is 10 days enough for Japan?
Yes. Ten days is a good duration for a first visit to Japan if you focus on the classic Tokyo–Mt Fuji/Hakone–Kyoto–Nara–Osaka route. It allows travellers to experience modern cities, traditional culture and natural scenery without trying to cover too many distant regions.
What is the best itinerary for 10 days in Japan?
For first-time travellers, one of the most practical routes is *Tokyo → Mt Fuji/Hakone → Kyoto → Nara → Osaka*. Starting in Tokyo and departing from Osaka also helps reduce unnecessary return travel.
How many nights should I stay in Tokyo?
For a 10-day first Japan trip, three nights in Tokyo provides a good introduction to the city. Travellers with additional time can easily spend four or five nights exploring Tokyo and nearby destinations.
How many nights should I stay in Kyoto?
Three nights allows time for Kyoto's major temples, Gion, Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari while maintaining a comfortable pace.
Is Nara worth visiting?
Yes. Nara is particularly suitable as a day trip between Kyoto and Osaka. Major attractions include Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, and it provides another perspective on Japan's ancient history.
Should I visit Mt Fuji from Tokyo?
Mt Fuji is one of Japan's most iconic destinations and fits naturally between Tokyo and Kyoto. Hakone and the Fuji Five Lakes region offer several viewpoints, although mountain visibility depends entirely on weather conditions.
Which is better for first-time tourists: Tokyo, Kyoto or Osaka?
The three cities provide very different experiences. Tokyo showcases contemporary Japan, Kyoto is strongest for temples and traditional culture, while Osaka is particularly known for food, nightlife and its lively atmosphere. A first-time itinerary is usually stronger when all three are combined.
Is this Japan itinerary suitable for families?

Is this Japan tour suitable for honeymoon couples?

Do Indian citizens need a visa for Japan?
Indian passport holders should obtain the appropriate Japanese visa before travelling. Visa requirements and procedures can change, so travellers should verify the latest requirements with the Embassy of Japan or the authorized visa application service before travel.
Are Indian vegetarian meals available in Japan?
Vegetarian and Indian restaurants are available in major cities including Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. However, strictly vegetarian travellers should inform the tour planner in advance because some Japanese dishes may contain fish-based stock or other non-vegetarian ingredients even when meat is not visibly present.
Can international flights from India be included?
Yes. The package can be quoted either as a land-only Japan tour or with international airfare from major Indian cities, subject to flight availability and fare conditions.
