Rail Tour from Delhi to Trivandrum itinerary
DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI (FLIGHT)
Arrive Delhi and then transfer to hotel. Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel.

DAY 2: DELHI
Morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will take you to a tour of Delhi.
Pulsing with energy and colour, Old Delhi is laced by a maze of narrow lanes, which twist and turn between the tall, leaning buildings. During your old Delhi tour you visit, Jama masjid with its tapering minarets and wonderful marble domes and Chandni Chowk. Drive pass the famous Red Fort surrounded by shops and bazaars. In Old Delhi you will also have an opportunity to experience a rickshaw ride.
After the visit proceed for tour of New Delhi where you will drive pass the Parliament Building, the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the President of India) and India Gate. In New Delhi you will also visit Qutab Minar, the 72.5 meter high tower. and Humanyun’s Tomb, which is architecturally considered the forerunner of the Taj Mahal.

DAY 3: DELHI – JAIPUR (4 ½ HRS. TRAIN RIDE)
Early morning pick up packed breakfast from hotel and well In time transfer to New Delhi railway station to board Ajmer Shatabdi Express to Jaipur.
Depart Delhi at 0605 Hrs
Arrive Jaipur at 1035 Hrs.
Note: Ajmer Shatabdi express trains runs all days in a week.
Upon arrival meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to hotel.

DAY 4: JAIPUR
After breakfast, you will be taken for sightseeing of Jaipur. Morning proceed to Amer fort. After the visit drive down the fort by open Jeep.
Amber fort complex stands amidst wooded hills. Built in 16th century it stands as a testament reflecting the glory of the fierce Kachawaha Dynasty that ruled over the region from 12th to the 18th century. The Amber Fort set in picturesque and rugged hills is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.
Later in the afternoon photostop at Hawa Mahal which is the best-known landmark of Jaipur. In the heart of the city is situated the City Palace, a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Jantar Mantar is only one of the five ob-servatories constructed by Jai Singh to whom the city owes its name. Central Museum has a large collec-tion of costumes, woodwork, brassware, jewelry, and pottery.

DAY 5: JAIPUR – AGRA (5 HRS. 25 MIN. TRAIN RIDE)
Early morning in time transfer to Jaipur railway station to board UDZ KURJ Express train for Agra.
Depart Jaipur at 0615 hrs and arrive Agra at 1100 hrs.
Note: UDZ KURJ Express train runs on all days in a week.
Alternative JP AF Shatabdi Express from Jaipur - Agra Fort Departs at 07:05 and Arrives at 10:35. Runs on all days except Thursday, so cannot be taken by clients who arrive in Delhi on a Monday.
Upon arrival meet and assistance by our representative and straight proceed for sightseeing of Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) and Agra Fort.
Late afternoon check in at hotel.Rest of the day free at leisure to explore the local market.

DAY 6: AGRA - BHARATPUR – RANTHAMBORE (56 KMS 1 HR. DRIVE + 2 HRS, 10 MIN TRAIN RIDE)
Morning after breakfast at hotel well in time checkout and drive to Bharatpur railway station to board the train at 1550 Hrs (Kota Jan shatabadi) en route visit Fatehpur Sikri 40 kms west of Agra, is built a city predominantly in Red Sandstone.
After the sightseeing continue for Bharatpur railway station.
Depart Bharatpur railway station at 1550 Hrs.
Arrive Ranthambore (Sawai Madhopur railway station) at 1800 Hrs.
Upon arrival meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to hotel for check in.

DAY 7: RANTHAMBORE
Early morning proceed for game drive in the jungle in serch of Tiger. Return to hotel for Breakfast. After lunch again proceed of game drive in the jungle in serch of Tiger.

DAY 8: RANTHAMBORE – MUMBAI (OVER NIGHT TRAIN RIDE)
Morning and Afternoon game drive in the jungle in serch of tiger. Later well in time transfer to railway station to board the train to Mumbai AG KRANTI RJDHN at 2038 Hrs

DAY 9: MUMBAI
Arrive Mumbai at 1000 Hrs. On arrival meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Mumbai.
The Gateway of India is a treasured monument that was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. further drive past a popular sea front, Marine Drive is a winding stretch of road with tall buildings on one side and sea on the other. Also known as the Queen’s Necklace because of its curved shape.
Tours continues with visit to Mani Bhawan Mumbai residence of Mahatma Gandhi.

DAY 10: MUMBAI
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed for excursion to Elephanta Caves The Elephanta Caves (Remains Closed on Every Monday) are a network of sculpted caves located on Elephant Island. The Hindu caves contain rock cut stone sculptures, representing the Shaiva Hindu sect, dedicated to the god Shiva.
Afternoon return to hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure to explore the city.

DAY 11 MUMBAI – GOA (8 HRS. 17 MIN TRAIN RIDE)
Early morning transfer to railway station to board the train at 0525 Hrs. to Goa.
Depart Mumbai at 0525 hrs by Jan Shatabdi Express( Breakfast will be served in Train)
Arrive Goa at 1302 Hrs.
Upon arrival transfer to hotel for check in. Rest for the day free at leisure to enjoy the beach.

DAY 14: COCHIN
Arrive Cochin at 1000 Hrs
Up on arrival meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Later in the afternoon half day City Tour of Cochin.
Sightseeing tour today takes you in Fort Cochin, as well as the Church of St. Francis, where Vasco de Gama was buried for a short while. Mattancherry Palace (closed on Friday) later return to the hotel via the cantilevered Chinese Fishing Nets.
Late afternoon enjoy Kathakali dance – the stylised and theatrical art form retelling stories from Hindu legend.

DAY 15: COCHIN – ALLEPPEY (55 KMS. 1 ½ HRS. DRIVE)
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Alleppey and embark the Houseboat.
Cruising Kerala’s backwaters in a traditional ‘Kettuvallom’ (boats made by tying together wooden planks with coconut ropes) is a distinctly unique experience!

DAY 16 ALLEPPEY – COCHIN – TRIVANDRUM (55 KMS. 1 ½ HRS. DRIVE + 3 ½ HRS.TRAIN RIDE)
After morning breakfast disembark from Houseboat and drive to Cochin to board the train to Trivandrum.
Depart Cochin at 1720 Hrs.
Arrive Trivandrum at 2055 Hrs.

DAY 17 TRIVANDRUM- KANYAKUMARI- TRAIVANDRUM ( 96 KMS 3 HRS DRIVE)
Morning after breakfast day excursion to Kanyakumari. Arrive Kanyakumari and take a Ferry to Vivekananda rock memorial. After the visit return to Trivandrum.
