Wonders of Asia - Sri lanka itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE COLOMBO
Upon arrival at Colombo airport meet and assistance by our representative and drive to Habarana (04 Hrs Drive).
Enroute visit pinnawala elephant orphanage
Elephants are magnificent land animals, with a thick skin and a curved trunk. Watching these gigantic wild, semi wild mammals is a lifetime experience. Later continue drive to Habarana & check in to your lovely hotel , rest of the day free to relax.

Day 2: HABARANA - SIGIRIYA
Breakfast at the hotel visit Sigiriya , sigiriya in morning sun light.
Sigiriya is an archelological site in North Central Sri Lanka. It contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex, built during the regin of King Kasyapa (477AD - 495 AD). It is one of the 7 world heritage sites in Sri Lanka and is one of it's most popular tourist destinations.

Day 3: SIGIRIYA - KANDY
Travel time 3 ½ HRS
Breakfast at the hotel ,later proceed to Kandy via visiting Dambvulla cave temple

Located at an elevation of 1118 feet from the sea level rises a massive rock from the surrounding plains of Dambulla of 600 feet high and over 2000 feet in length. It is home to the Worlds most acclaimed Cave complex of magnificent Buddha Images and Rock Paintings of vivid colours and shapes constructed and painted from around 2nd Century BC (Anuradhapura era ) and continued up to the Kandyan era of the 18th Century. Sinhalese people call it as ' Dambulu Gala' ( Dambulla Rock) and the Temple is called as the ' Rangiri Dambulu Viharaya' (Golden Rock Dambulla Temple).
on the way visit - Spice Garden to see many different types of spices, Free Ayurveda massage. Witness a Cookery Demonstration conducted by the Spice Garden Staff.
In the evening you will arrive in spiritual Kandy, surrounded by greenery and the great Mahaweli River. Kandy is also well known as the centre of Buddhism, at your convenience, become acquainted with the city of Kandy – Have a break ,
Evening- witness a cultural Dance performance & amazing Fire eating (5.00 pm to 6.00 pm)
attend puja (chanting) evening ceremony at the“Dalada Maligawa’ where the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha is placed and preserved is undoubtedly the greatest attraction o the city. It is one of the most sacred places for Buddhists all over the world. Day 4: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA (TEA COUNTRY)
Travel Time- 3 ½ hrs -by train
Breakfast at the hotel later visit Gem museum and lapidary.- Gem Museum / Gem Mining / Gem cutting (if you interest you even buy gems )- world famous for its Ceylon blue sapphire and handicraft centre & batik factory –truly design quality with hand made.
Optional -later proceed to Nuwara Eliya by Rajadahani express Luxury train *subjected to availability you will get in to train at peradeniya station -12.21 pm & reach to Nanu oya 3.51 pm enjoy a picturesque journey through the mountain - Travel through a beautifullandscape & waterfall of Sri Lanka, Enjoy the rich nature. ,cascading water falls.
You will be picked up at Nanuoya railway sation Next visit visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. You will be told all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
Nuwara Eliya, because of its invigoratingmountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Nuwara Eliya isalso the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country producing a significant share of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

Day 5: NUWARA ELIYA - YALA
Travel Time- 4 ½ hrs
Breakfast at the hotel, later proceed to Yala Via Ella visit Sita Amman kovil.
Just passing Ella gap &on the way stop at Rawana waterfalls In the afternoon visit to Yala national park and engage in Jeep safari (safari time 3 hrs).
One of the foremost places to visit in Sri Lanka, the Yala National Park is famous for the elusive leopard and has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. The sloth bear and Asian elephant that are also part of Sri Lanka’s Big Five can be spotted. With some good luck you will witness all these creatures and more over an evening jeep safari accompanied by a naturalist guide.

Day 6: YALA - GALLE
Travel time - 5 ½ HRS
Breakfast at the hotel , later proceed to Galle -enjoy a scenic journey.
On the way visit Ussangoda - Ussangoda is a place of natural beauty and a designated archaeological site
next stop to visit weherahena ancient temple Matara weherahena purwaramaya is situated in the village of weherahena in the district of matara in the southern province in Srilanka. Buddhist as well as non Buddhist live in the world pay homage to this temple and it's very popular among the people in the world.
The colossal statue samadhi
This colossal Buddha statue was the only statue which was built after the Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa period. The height is 39m this was constructed on a stage which was shaped like a lotus flower. This construction was done according to the tradition of Sariputta carving.
Continue to Galle , on the way visit Massive Galle Dutch Fort Galle Fort, in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards Check in to your lovely hotel & rest of the day free to relax.
