Roopkund Trek (4900 M) itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi, meet and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Meals: Dinner Only
Day 2: Delhi – Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3: Rishikesh – Lohajung (2,530 m
Drive – 6/7 hrs
Start driving to Lohajung via Devprayag, Rudraprayag & Karanprayag. Upon arrival set the camp for the overnight stay.
Day 4: Lohajung - Bedani Bugyal (3,345 m)
Trek - 10 kms
Morning after breakfast drive to Wan which is the last road head point.From here start trek to reach the Bedani Bugyal which is approx 10 -11 km.
Day 5 : Bedani Bugyal – Bagwabasa (4,375 m)
Trek – 11 kms ( 7/8 hrs)
Morning after breakfast start trek to Bagwabsa which is approax 10 km far from here. The trail continues easily over rolling grassy hills to the meadow at Bagwabasa - 4000m (which means ‘place of flowers’in the local dialect). This is a wonderful camping place with the high peaks of Trisul and Nanda Ghunti becoming more prominent.
6 - 7 hrs, 2-½ hrs steep ascent and then easy gentle sloping downward
Day 6: Bagwabasa - Roop Kund (4,844 m) – Bagwabasa Round Trek – 11 hrs approx
Morning after breakfast start trek to Roop kund which is approax 6-7 km far from here. Situated below the Jurighati Dhar, this beautiful lake is known as 'Mystery Lake' after some human skeletons are found here. After spending some time at Roopkund, return back to Bagwabasa for overnight stay.
2-3 hrs to Roopkund return to Bhagwabasa by lunch time. 5 hrs descent to Bedni Bugyal Level: Moderate-Difficult.
Day 07: Bagwabasa – Bhuna/Palwala (3,500 m)
Trek – 4/5 Hrs
Morning after breakfast start return trek to Bhuna. From Bagubasa the trail crosses a grassy ridgeline which drops from the southern flanks of Roopkund from where we descend to the village of Bhuna (3500m). Arrive and set the camp for overnight stay.
Day 08: Bhuna – Setal (2,192 m)
Trek – 4/5 hrs
After breakfast start trek to reach the Setal.The trail now drops down through the village of Kunol into the Nandakini Valley which drains the waters of Roopkund and the Trisul massif. After following the river of the same name we arrive at the village of Setal (2192m). Our campsite for the evening is located just before we reach the village, in a delightful meadow by the river.
Overnight in camp near the village.
Day 09: Setal – Ghat – Rudraprayag (2,936 m)
Drive – 37 Kms (Drive 1.5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast straigt drive to Rudraprayag via Ghat. Up on arrival check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh
Drive – 145 Kms (Drive 5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive down to Rishikesh via Devprayag.Where Bhagirathi meets with Alaknanda and known as Ganga. Later on proceed to Haridwar for the onward destination.
Day 11: Rishikesh – Delhi
Drive
Morning after breakfast proceeds for Delhi. After arrival check- in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Depart Delhi
Flight
After breakfast went to IMF office for some formalities and rest of day free. Later in the day Departure transfer to International airport to board flight for onward destination.

One time entrances to the monuments and permit changes for the trek as per the itinerary. Camping fee are charged by respective state/regions.
