DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive at Delhi Airport Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands. Transfer to hotel for check-in. overnight stay in a hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI – MANALI DRIVE 570 KMS | 12 HRS
Morning after breakfast free time for shopping and individual activity in Delhi. Later in the afternoon drive to Manali by bus/car. Overnight journey or stay in hotel at Manali.

DAY 03: MANALI 2,050 M
Welcome to the land of God Himachal Pradesh Today. You will have free time in Manali to explore some of the attractions of Manali Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashishtha temple, Old Manali and Mall road etc. Later in the day come back to the hotel for Dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 04: MANALI - DHUNDHI – BAKKARTHATCH 3390 M DRIVE & TREK
The morning after breakfast get ready for a drive to Dhundhi which is only about 20 km from Manali. During your drive to Dhundhi, you will enjoy a scenic ride through the mesmerizing Solang Nala and also, enjoy a short stopover at the Solang Valley.
The drive will end at Dhundhi which is the last motorable area in this region and after this, you will harness your trekking essentials to get ready for the trekking journey. First, you will walk through the big boulder region of Dhundhi and also cross some smooth mountain paths for about 2 hours to reach another stopover where you will feast on your packed lunches. Then, you will resume your trekking journey and walk towards Bakkarthatch for which, you will enjoy walking through the sprawling meadows and also on a hardened glacier path. After reaching Bakkarthatch, team Shikhar will set up your tent and retire for the night.

DAY 05: BASIC TRAINING AT BAKKARTHATCH
After finishing your breakfast, you will get ready to enjoy a training day to be able to safe guard yourself during any unavoidable situation. First, you will be escorted to the training camp in Bakkarthatch where you will learn all the important semantics of hiking on a snow-covered mountain. You will also learn essential tips regarding the use of mountaineering equipment like crampons, ice axes, jumars, walking via snow boots, etc. However, you will return from here early and trek back to your campsite for another peaceful night.

DAY 06: TREK UP TO THE ADVANCE CAMP FOR ACCLIMATIZATION AND RETURN BACK BASE CAMP: 3-4 HOURS ONE SIDE
Morning after finishing your breakfast early, you will put on your trekking backpacks and get ready to trek towards the advanced base camp of Mt. Friendship. Upon reaching the point, your body get adapted to the high altitude at the advanced base camp.
During this trek, you will walk alongside the lush green meadows and also paddle on rough terrain to finally reach the advance camp. Apart from this, after spending some time to adapt to the high-altitude level at the advance camp, you will trek back down to the Base Camp. Overnight in Shikhar trekking tent.

DAY 07: TREK TOWARDS THE ADVANCED CAMP 4150 M
Upon finishing the breakfast early, get ready to move towards the advanced camp to finally spend a cold night there. You may not meet with any high-altitude sickness because you already made your body acclimatize with the atmosphere here.
Upon reaching the advanced camp, team Shikhar will set up your camps again today and feast on your packed lunch. You can enjoy the surreal view of sitting on a place so high up surrounded by the great Mountain Ranges. Overnight stay in tents.

DAY 08: ADVANCE BASE CAMP – TOP OF MOUNT FRIENDSHIP 5289M
Today finally, the day to conquer the journey to the top of Mt. Friendship has come and you will once again put on your trekking essentials after having an early morning breakfast. The distance from the advanced base camp to the top of Mt. Friendship is about and it takes around 06 hours to reach there. So, you will be asked to wake up around 02 in the morning and trek towards the summit. But before starting the journey, you will enjoy some morning refreshments like masala tea, sandwiches, and boiled eggs to charge up the energy meter. For the first half of the mountain walk, you will jump on some big rocks and trod down rough terrain regions with the help of crampons. However, after this region, you will start walking on smooth slopes region but the use of ice axes will come in handy here.
And nearly after 06 hours of journey, you will touch down the summit of Friendship Peak and will encounter a spellbinding view. You may also catch the glimpse of many other famous peaks like Pir Panjal Range, Makar Beh (6070m), Shikhar Beh (6,200m), Dhauladhar Range, Shetidhar Peak (5,250m), Manali Peak (5,735m), Hanuman Tibba (5490m). After clicking every single moment of your climb to Mt. Friendship, start descend back to the Advanced camp and further to Base camp which is at Bakarthach. Overnight stay in tents.

DAY 09: BUFFER DAY IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER SITUATION
As you must know that the weather in the mountains can’t be mapped according to the Google updates so you may be subjected to encountering bad weather conditions during this journey. So, a day will be reserved by the Shikhar team in advance to avoid any casualties. So, enjoy this buffer day to the fullest and lose yourself to the mesmerizing view of the Great Himalayan ranges.

DAY 10: BASE CAMP – MANALI
After much appreciating this surreal journey in your heart, you will get ready to trek down the path first, to the Bakkarthatch area. As you will be descending on the trek, the journey will take around 3 hours. You can also enjoy some refreshment breaks in between, but you may have to walk down constantly because that is how lower altitude trekking demands are. Once you reach the Dhundhi region, you will hop on a Car/traveller to leave for Manali and will be able to follow a scenic journey again today. After this hectic journey, you will check into your hotel rooms and enjoy a sound sleep to free you from tiredness.

DAY 11: MANALI - DELHI
Upon finishing breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi by bus or car. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.

SHIKHAR CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt Ltd.
Note: Cancellation due to having COVID-19/ “flu-like symptoms”, supported by a medical certificate OR due to any travel restrictions imposed by the International/ National or local government we will hold the entire amount paid by you as a credit for a future trip.
For cancellation made 60 prior to the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 60-30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.
In certain cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.
UNUSED SERVICES & REFUND
No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by passenger while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.
Refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.
If there is any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of hotel stay, transportation, and meals etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.

All the packages are sold under the business management of India Travel Pvt. Ltd. and they are in no way to be considered as the principal or operator of the subject services. The right is reserved to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither India Travel Pvt. Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes/riots, roadblock etc.

This condition and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation here to shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
