Shafat - I is a 6800 meters peak in Suru valley of Kargil district in Ladakh state in Indian Himalaya. It is around 100 Kms from Kargil and takes two days trek to reach base camp form road head which is Shafat Nala. Nearest village is Parkachik from base camp which is around 25 kms away. This peak have a little technique climbing and have to establish normally three high camps after base camp. to reach base camp we need to higher ponies in advance as porters are hardly available there.
DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrives on Delhi Airport Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and & overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY 2: DELHI
Proceed to IMF for clearance and briefing with Liaison Officer.

DAY 3: DELHI - LEH (3,524 M)
Morning after an early breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to board flight to Leh. Arrive Leh and check-in the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 4: LEH
Morning after breakfast proceed to city sightseeing of Leh which include Shanti Stupa, Shey Palace, Shankar Gompa and Thiksey monastery. Overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 5: LEH - KARGIL (2,676 M)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kargil 230 kms. Upon arrival in Kargil check in the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 6: KARGIL - SHAFAT NALA (4,000 M)
Morning after early breakfast drive to Shafat Nala via Parkachik. On arrival, cross the Suru Valley and establish your camp at Shafat Nala. Overnight stay in tent.

DAY 7: SHAFAT NALA - BASE CAMP (4400 M)
Morning after breakfast from Shafat Nala camp, we walk up to moraine camp and continue to base camp. This involves 5-7 hrs walking and crossing rough glacial terrain. Camp for overnight stay.

DAY 8 TO DAY 16: BASE CAMP - SHAFAT - I 6800 M SUMMIT - BASE CAMP
Day 08 to 16 for Mt. Shafat - I (6800 M) Summit and descend down to Base camp.
Meals: All Meals in base camp
DAY 17: BASE CAMP - SHAFAT NALA
Trek Back to Shafat Nala camp. Overnight stay at camp.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 18: BASE CAMP - SHAFAT NALA - KARGIL
Trek back to Shafat Nala and continue drive back to Kargil. Overnight stay at hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 19: LEH - DELHI
Morning check out from hotel and transfer to Leh Airport to catch the flight to Delhi. Arrival in Delhi transfer to IMF Delhi for (De-briefing) with IMF Director. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner
DAY 20: DELHI - DEPART
Morning after a relaxed breakfast we will take you to International Airport for Departure.
