Kuari Pass Trek In Uttarakhand itinerary
Day 1- Drive from Dehradun to Joshimath
On reaching Haridwar, you will receive a warm welcome from our tour representative who will then assist you in reaching Joshimath by an air-conditioned vehicle. Upon your arrival at the day destination, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Complete all the required check-in formalities and unwind yourself in the comfy hotel room.
You will be served a mouth-watering night meal which is then followed by a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2- Joshimath to Dhak Village and trek to Tali Forest Camp
Get up a little early today as you will start trekking towards Tali Forest Camp via Dhak Village. Post enjoying breakfast around 7.30 am heading towards Dhak Village to commence your trekking experience. You are advised to keep a jacket handy as you might need it along the way but if it's a sunny day you can easily trek in fleece and a t-shirt.
On reaching this charming little village, you will get to have glimpses of the traditional and cultural way of life of the locals. While ascending from the Tugashi Village, the terrain changes and you get to pass through the thick dense forest of oak and pine trees, lush green valleys, and blooming meadows. Enjoy your short lunch break in between and then continue climbing up to Tali campsite. Established right in the center of the forest, this beautiful campsite adds more beauty to your trek and makes you feel delighted.
In the evening, you can enjoy playing games with the fellow trekkers along with enjoying hot beverages and delicious snacks.

Day 3- Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass to Tali Forest Camp
The third day Of Kuari Pass Trek is going to be the most exciting and epic one. Today's trek is going to be more exciting and enthralling than the previous one as it includes both ascending and descending the trekking trail. Today's trekking experience will amaze you with the astonishing views of the surrounding mountains, the magnificent snowfields offer you a very uncommon experience.
It will take almost 4 hours to reach the top of Kuari Pass, the highest point of this trekking expedition. On reaching the greatest height of the Kuari Pass trek, you get to see the awe-inspiring views of Hathi Ghoda Parvat, Neelkanth Peak, Nanda Devi Peak, Chaukhamba, Pangarchulla, and Dronagiri.
Relax for some time at the Pass and then follow the same route to reach Tali before it gets dark. Most probably you will be at the campsite by afternoon hence, you can spend your day exploring the nearby areas and interacting with the locals to know about their culture, tradition, and lifestyle.
Return to the camp before it gets too dark and then enjoys the lip-smacking meal served to you. You must be tired by now, so go for a relaxing and sound sleep.

Day 4- Tali Forest Camp - Auli - Joshimath
The fourth day of your trip is going to be more exciting as you will be out of the forest and can enjoy witnessing the surreal beauties of nature including the clear views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Your first stopover would be at the gorgeous Tali Lake from where you can witness the clear views of Nanda Devi Peak, the highest mountain in India.
Make sure you don't go away from your group especially if you are scared of heights or prone to vertigo. After walking on a narrow path for 1.5 km, you enter Gurson Bugyal, and then for the next 5 km, you will walk into a gorgeous wide-open meadow. The place looks more stunning during the winter months when the region gets covered with thick sheets of snow.
Auli happens to be one of the most exciting winter holiday destinations in India hence, in winter months you find this hilly area immensely crowded with hikers and trekkers. Visiting Auli Ski Resort is another exciting activity to enjoy today and then from there proceed towards Joshimath.
It takes only an hour to reach Joshimath from Auli. On reaching the final destination of the day, relax for some time and then go for a sightseeing tour at nearby places. Later at night, you will be offered a delicious dinner.

Day 5- Departure from Joshimath
This is the time to pack your bags as your Kuari Pass trek ends with Shikhar Travels. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel and will drop you at the railway station or airport from where you will board the transport for your onward journey towards home.

By Air:
Nearest airport is in Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport) which is middle of two famous cities Dehradun (25 kms) & Rishikesh (20 kms) there are daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai.
By Train:
Nearest Railway station is in Dehradun city which is well connected from Delhi & Mumbai, you can take late night train from Delhi, it will arriving early morning in Dehradun, you can also take Shatabdi express from Delhi to Dehradun as well as to Haridwar. Train details are given below.
· Nandadevi Express – Train number: 12401 Departure from Delhi 2350 hrs., arrival 0550 hrs. at Dehradun.
· Mussoorie Express – Train number: 14041 Departure from Delhi 2225 hrs., arrival 0825 hrs. at Dehradun.
· Dehradun Shatabdi – Train number: 12017 Departure from Delhi 0645 hrs., arrival 1255 hrs. at Dehradun.
· Dehradun Jan Shatabdi – Train number: 12055 Departure from Delhi 1520 hrs., arrival 2110 hrs. at Dehradun.
By Road:
Dehradun is well connected with almost every city in north India, you can take Volvo or ordinary bus from ISBT Kashmiri gate (Delhi) Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh Road transport (Govt. body) are running their services. Last Volo Bus departs from Kashmiri gate on 2300 hrs. which arrives ISBT Dehradun at 0500 hrs., from there you can take a Auto rickshaw to Dehradun railway station parking.
We will pick you from Dehradun Railway station parking in Bolero or Tempo traveler (according to group size) in between 0600 hrs. to 0800 hrs.
