Indian National Park Tours itinerary
DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI (FLIGHT DETAILS AWAITED)
Shikhar Representative will receive you with traditional welcome at on your arrival in Delhi airport and will assist you to check-in at hotel. Overnight: In Delhi
DAY 02: DELHI – CORBETT (265 Kms, 6 hrs)
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Corbett. After arrival transfer to jungle lodge, relax for bit and later get ready to explore the amazing jungle world. Beside Tiger, Leopard, and Elephants Corbet national park is famous for various Flora & Fauna. In the evening enjoy bone fire and folk dance with delicious traditional dinner. Overnight: In Corbett
DAY 03: IN CORBETT
Today early morning we take you for Jungle Safari with naturalist and back to resort for Breakfast and Lunch. In the evening we take you for afternoon jungle safari. Overnight: In Corbett.
DAY 04: CORBETT – DELHI (265 Kms, 6 hrs)
Today early in the morning we take you for jungle safari inside the park with an experience guide. Later breakfast in the hotel we will drive back to Delhi. Check in the hotel. Overnight: In Delhi
DAY 05:DELHI - RANTHAMBORE
Morning transfer to Delhi train station to board a train for Sawai Madhopur. Depart Delhi by ‘20452’
NDLS SGAC SF EXP (ETD:0710 hrs.) (Or any available train)
Arrive Sawai Madhopur (ETA:1138 hrs.)
Upon arrival at Sawai Madhopur train station you will be transferred to your Jungle Lodge. Later in theafternoon, we take you to enjoy jeep safari and witness the wildlife inside the National Park. (In case we provide you later train then this afternoon safari will not be possible). Overnight: In Ranthambhore
DAY 06: IN RANTHAMBORE
Today morning we take you for Jeep Safari inside the Ranthambhore National Park. After safari return to hotel for breakfast. Later- an optional Sightseeing of Ranthambhore Fort - An impressive historic monument situated in Ranthambore National Park. It is believed to be among the oldest forts built in India. Its construction is dated to the reign of a Chauhan king of 944 A.D. from where you can have a spectacular view of National Park.
Late in the afternoon you will be taken for the guided Nature walk with an experienced naturalist around the Surwal Lake and bird watching - Ranthambhore has over 330 species of birds and we are still counting. It is believed that there are some great birding spots outside the park where one can walk around, which normally cannot be done inside the park. Back to Lodge. Overnight: In Ranthambhore
DAY 07: RANTHAMBORE – BHARATPUR(245 Kms, 5 hrs)
Today morning after breakfast,we take you on a beautiful drive from Ranthambore to Bharatpur. After arrival proceed to lodge for check-in. After lunch we take you to visit world famous bird’s paradise "Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary". After enjoying the Nature's bounty back to hotel. Overnight: In Bharatpur.
DAY 08: BHARATPUR –AGRA(60 Kms, 1.5 hrs)- BANDHAVGARH
Morning after having early breakfast we drive to Agra at 0730 hrs. visiting World Famous Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. If time permits also visit Agra Fort build alongside the Yamuna River.
Later Transfer to Railway station to board an overnight train for Umaria.
Depart Agra by ‘18478’ KALINGAUTKAL EXP (ETD:1450 hrs.) (Or any available train)
Arrive Umaria (ETA:0345 hrs.next morning)
(Note: this is the last train from Agra to Umaria). Overnight: In the train.
DAY 09: UMARIA -BANDHAVGARH(30 Kms, 1 hrs)
Meeting upon arrival at Railway station in Umaria and further transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park. Check in at Jungle Resort once you arrive at Park. Late afternoons enjoy the Park Safari and witness the wildlife inside the park to track for jungle king-Tiger. Return to resort for lunch. After some relaxation proceed for an optional tour to Bandhavgarh Fort - which is known to be around 2000 Yrs.old, but we do not have an actual evidence to show the Records. The natural rampart of the Fort gives breathtaking view of the surroundings of the countryside. Personally feel that no trip to Bandhavgarh is complete without making an effort to climb up the Fort. Evening if the time permits enjoy jeep safari inside the park. Overnight In Bandhavgarh.
DAY 10: BANDHAVGARH – KANHA(245 Kms, 5 hrs)
Morning Enjoy Jungle Safari inside the park followed by the bird watching. Bandhavgarh National Park is also famous for bird watching. It has more than 140 bird species. The main bird species at Bandhavgarh national park are white browed fantails, steppe eagles, green pigeons, grey Malabar hornbills, black and white Malabar hornbills (quite a rare sighting), blossom headed parakeets, parakeets, blue bearded bee-eaters, green bee-eaters, white bellied Drongos, Owls, Jerdon and gold fronted leaf birds, minivets, wood shrikes and the lovely paradise flycatchers. Late afternoon drive down to Kanha National Park (250 Kms). Upon arrival check in at Jungle Lodge. Overnight: In Kanha
DAY 11:KANHA
Early morning, enjoy the jungle safaris deep inside the national park to see various wild animals in their most natural habitat. Return back to hotel for freshening up, relax enjoy breakfast. Afternoon once again enjoy jungle safari to see the wild tiger roaming freely in the Kipling's country. Evening visit Bamni Dadar - Known as Sunset Point, this is one of spot where Barasingha is found. The most beautiful areas of the park, from where a spectacular sunset can be watched. The dense luxuriance forests of Kanhacan best be seen from here. Animals that can be sighted around this point are typical of the mixed forest zone: sambar, barking deer, gaur and the four-horned antelope. Overnight: In Kanha
DAY 12: KHANA – NAGPUR(265 Kms, 6 hrs)- DELHI
Morning after breakfast at 0800 hrs. drive down to Nagpur, upon arrival transfer to airport to board a flight for Delhi.
Depart Nagpur by ‘6E-6602’ (ETD:1710 hrs.) (Or any available flight)
Arrive Delhi (ETA:1900 hrs.)
Upon arrival at Delhi airport to set your turn for an Onward destination.
