Ice Climbing Training in Ladakh itinerary
Day 1
You will arrive at leh airport, after which we will drive to and check in hotel, have breakfast and after a briefing and introduction we will conduct equipment testing till lunch after which we will go for a light walk around to get acclimatized. In the evening we will have tea and later dinner for overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 2- 11
Today we will have breakfast and drive to the climbing site. Here we will begin our climbing till afternoon. We will be back for lunch in our hotel. After a short period of rest, we will meet again in the common room for our indoor lessons. Later in the evening after tea we will have our dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 12
Departure after breakfast

Note: Our approach to instruction would be very scientific. We would cover the theory behind any technique before practicing the skill. The progression between skills would be seamless and logical. The experience would be wholesome and rewarding.

Accommodations in a Class A hotel with heating on twin sharing basis. Single supplement is available. Breakfast and Dinner included.

Instructions will be imparted by experienced ice climbers, adept at rigging Climbing lines with vast experience on glacial ice and waterfall ice (with a decade plus experience in Himalayan expedition climbing)

Climbing equipment rentals (boots, crampons, axes)

Airport transfers,

Transfers to the climbing site and back.

Communal equipment such as ropes, screws, and other sorts of anchors.

We could also try day hikes and exploratory tours into different valleys on one or more days for a change from ice climbing if the experience is overwhelming.
