Day 01: Haridwar – Guptkashi
Drive: 207kms.

Altitude: 1,319M
Morning arrives Haridwar meet our representative and drive to Guptkashi, on arrival check in to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Meal: Dinner
Day 02: Guptkashi – Gaurikund - Kedarnath
Drive: 30 km.
Trek: 18 KM
Altitude: 3,583M
Morning after breakfast drive to Sonprayag, from there take a local cab for 2 km to reach Gaurikund, from here start your trek towards Kedarnath, on arrival check in to the Guest House. Evening visits Kedarnath temple and witnesses the evening Aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Gaurikund: Gaurikund is a small town located in the Rudraprayag district. it serves as the starting point for the trek to the holy shrine of Kedarnath. Gaurikund is situated at an altitude of 1,982 meters and is named after Goddess Parvati, who is also known as Gauri. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Goddess Parvati meditated here to please Lord Shiva and attain his hand in marriage. Gaurikund is also known for its natural hot springs, which are believed to have medicinal properties and are frequented by pilgrims before starting the trek to Kedarnath.
Kedarnath: Kedarnath is home to the Kedarnath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Kedarnath is situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters and is surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era and is considered to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines. The town can only be reached by a trek or a helicopter ride from Gaurikund, which serves as the base camp for the Kedarnath Yatra.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Rudraprayag
Drive: 75kms.
Time: 03hrs.
Altitude: 895M
Early morning visit Kedarnath temple for Aarti, return to the guest house for breakfast, later start descending to Gaurikund, and drive to Rudraprayag. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel, later if time permits visit the confluence of the Alaknanda & Mandakini river, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Rudraprayag - Badrinath
Drive: 155 km.
Time: 06 hrs.
Altitude: 3,300M
Morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later Attend the auspicious opening ceremony, participate in the special rituals and seek the blessings of Lord Badrinath.
Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Badrinath: It is home to the Badrinath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Badrinath is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters and is surrounded by the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges. The temple is believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th century and is considered to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines. The town can be reached by road from Haridwar or Rishikesh and is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year.

Day 05: Badrinath – Haridwar
Drive: 294 km.
Time: 10 hrs.
Altitude: 895M
The morning after breakfast return drives to Rishikesh. En route at Devprayag, take a short photo stop of its magnificent confluence view of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda. Take a further 2 Hrs to drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival transfer to the railway station.
Devprayag: Devprayag is situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, which merge to form the holy Ganges river. Devprayag is considered to be one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of the Ganges and is believed to be the place where Lord Rama performed a penance to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. The town is also known for its ancient Raghunathji Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Rama and is visited by pilgrims from all over India. Devprayag can be reached by road from Rishikesh or Haridwar and is a popular stopover for those traveling to the Char Dham pilgrimage sites.

Payment Policy:
Upon confirmation of the booking, we would require 50% of the total invoice and the balance 50% amount should be paid 60 days prior to the date of arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation Charges: Notice of cancellation must be made in writing in the name of Shikhar Travels (India) Pvt Ltd.
For cancellation made 60 prior to the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 60-30 days of the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice. For cancellation made within 30 days after the start of the tour, there will be a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice.
In certain cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions applicable on the advance deposit made/required for holding the reservation) may differ & would be applicable as per the cancellation policy of that hotel / Service provider. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.
Unused Services & Refund
No refund will be made for any unused services or other arrangements due to any changes in schedule made by a passenger while traveling. However, in certain cases, the refund will be considered as per the policy of the carrier/ hotel/ tour company / or other suppliers used for providing services.
A refund request must be made within 2 weeks of the completion of the trip.
If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, and meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.
Responsibility & Liability
All the packages are sold under the business management of Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt Ltd. Shikhar Travels reserves the right to cancel or alter any package as conditions require. Neither Shikhar Travels (I) Pvt Ltd. nor the participating suppliers/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses due to loss, delay, or damage caused by accident, illness, bad weather, strikes/riots, roadblock, etc.
Governing Law
These conditions and each term shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
