Chardham Yatra Tour Package from Bangalore itinerary
Day 1: Bangalore – Delhi (train/flight)
The journey begins with boarding a train or flight of your choice to Delhi, invoking the grace of Lord Vigneswar to remove obstacles.
Day 2: Delhi – Rishikesh (230 km /7 hours)
Our representative will greet you at the station, and we will leave for Rishikesh in the night at around 10.00 pm. Enjoy an overnight journey.
Day 3: Rishikesh – Barkot (200 km /7 hours)
Arrive at Rishikesh in the morning, the gateway to Garhwal Himalayas. Spend half the day sightseeing in Rishikesh, including Ram Jhoola, Laxman Jhoola, Geeta Ashram, and Swarg Ashram. After lunch, drive towards Barkot and soak in the beauty of Kempty Falls in Mussoorie en route. Stay overnight at a hotel in Barkot.
Day 4: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (45 km road/ 6 km Trek)
Leave from the accommodation at Barkot towards Jankichatti quite early in the morning. Ascend till the shrine of Yamunotri on foot or by hiring a pony/doli. Partake in the ritual of preparing cooked potatoes and rice as Prasadam in the boiling water of Surya Kund, a natural hot-water spring near the Yamunotri temple. Take a holy dip in Yamuna’s chilly water and offer pooja before the rock pillar of ‘Divya Shila’. After procuring the blessings of Goddess Yamuna, trek down till Janki Chatti and return to the hotel in Barkot.
Day 5: Barkot – Uttarkashi (90 km/4 hr)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi and visit the famous cave temple of Shiva, Prakateswar Mahadev. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, another Shiva temple in the city of Uttarkashi, and stay overnight at a hotel in the city.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km /4 hr)
Leave towards Gangotri early in the morning and enjoy magnificent views of Bhagirathi’s course and Himalayan peaks. Take a dip in the holy waters of Bhagirathi and enjoy the blissful darshan of Ganga Maiya at her shrine. Visit Harsil, a Himalayan hill station replete with dense forests, colourful birds, apple orchards, and many other wonders. Our driver will fetch you back to the hotel in Uttarkashi.
Day 07: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (225 km / 9-10 hr)
After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Guptkashi, which is located in the Kedar valley. On the way, we will visit Tehri Dam, which is the highest dam in India and one of the tallest in the world. We will also pass through some of the most picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand, including the Mandakini river valley and Rudraprayag.
Upon arrival in Guptkashi, we will check into our hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Guptkashi is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple, which are worth a visit.
Day 08: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km road/ 19 km Trek)
Early in the morning, we will drive towards Gaurikund from where the trek to Kedarnath begins. You can opt for a pony or a palanquin for the trek if you prefer not to walk. Kedarnath is located at an altitude of 3,583 metres and is one of the holiest shrines for Hindus.
After reaching Kedarnath, we will check into our hotel and freshen up. Later, we will visit the Kedarnath Temple and offer our prayers to Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas and is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and breathtaking scenery.
Day 09: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 km Trek/ 30 km road)
Early morning, we will attend the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple and later, start our trek back to Gaurikund. From there, we will drive back to Guptkashi and check into our hotel. You can relax and rejuvenate yourself for the rest of the day.
Day 10: Guptkashi – Joshimath (175 km / 7-8 hr)
After breakfast, we will drive towards Joshimath, which is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. On the way, we will visit the famous Triyuginarayan Temple, which is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. We will also visit the ancient Kalpavriksha tree, which is said to be over 1200 years old.
Upon arrival in Joshimath, we will check into our hotel and rest for the night.
Day 11: Joshimath – Badrinath (44 km / 2-3 hr)
In the morning, we will visit the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his half-man, half-lion avatar. Later, we will drive towards Badrinath, which is the last stop of our Chardham Yatra.
After reaching Badrinath, we will check into our hotel and freshen up. In the evening, we will visit the Badrinath Temple and attend the evening aarti. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the most revered shrines for Hindus.
Day 12: Badrinath – Mana Village – Badrinath (3 km)
After breakfast, we will visit the Mana village, which is the last village on the Indian side of the Indo-China border. The village is known for its Vyas Gufa, where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata. We will also visit the Bhim Pul, which is a natural bridge over the Saraswati river.
Later, we will return to Badrinath and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 13: Srinagar – Haridwar (125 km/4 hr)
After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, we will visit the Har Ki Pauri ghat for a holy dip in the river Ganga and attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening. We will then drop you at the Haridwar railway station.
