Day 1: Departure from New York (JFK/EWR) to Delhi

Your sacred journey begins as you board a flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) or Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), New Delhi. The flight duration is approximately 14–18 hours, depending on layovers.

 

Day 2: Arrival in Delhi – Transfer to Haridwar (220 km / 5-6 hours)

Upon arrival in Delhi, meet our representative and travel to Haridwar by road or train. Check-in at your hotel and in the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

 

Day 3: Haridwar to Barkot (180 km / 7 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri. En route, stop at Mussoorie’s Kempty Falls for a scenic break. Arrive in Barkot and check into your hotel/camp for an overnight stay, preparing for the Yamunotri trek the next day.

 

Day 4: Yamunotri Temple Darshan (6 km Trek from Janki Chatti)

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple. Options include trekking, hiring a pony, or taking a palki (palanquin).

At Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, perform prayers and take a holy dip in the hot springs of Surya Kund. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

 

Day 5: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, home to the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Spend the evening by the Bhagirathi River, enjoying the serene ambiance. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

 

Day 6: Gangotri Temple Darshan (100 km / 3 hours One Way)

Early morning, drive to Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganga. Visit the Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, and perform puja and aarti. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

 

Day 7: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8 hours)

After breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi, a significant town near Kedarnath. En route, admire the scenic beauty of the Mandakini River Valley. Visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 8: Kedarnath Temple Darshan (19 km Trek or Helicopter Ride)

Early morning, drive to Sonprayag, then take a shared ride to Gaurikund, the starting point of the 19 km trek to Kedarnath Temple.

Options:

Upon arrival, visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, for darshan and prayers. Overnight stay in Kedarnath (if trekking) or return to Guptkashi (if using a helicopter).

 

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km / 7 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, the final Char Dham shrine. En route, stop at Joshimath and Vishnuprayag. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund’s hot springs and attend the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

 

Day 10: Badrinath Darshan – Return to Rudraprayag (150 km / 5 hours)

Early morning, visit Badrinath Temple for darshan. Explore nearby attractions like Mana Village (India’s last village), Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. Later, drive to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay.

 

Day 11: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh – Back to Delhi (400 km / 9 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh, known as the Yoga Capital of the World. Visit the famous Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. Later, continue to Delhi (5–6 hours). Upon arrival, check into a hotel or transfer to the airport for your return flight to New York.

 

Day 12: Arrival in New York
